New York-listed International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a one-year extension to its agreement with the DC Office of Lottery and Charitable Games (DC Lottery).

The extension will see the company continue to provide a comprehensive range of instant ticket services to the lottery through December 1st, 2018, including game planning, marketing, and the production and printing of instant tickets.

IGT has served as a print vendor to the DC Lottery since 2014, developing multiple tickets ranging in price from $1 to $10.

As part of the contract extension, the lottery will also launch its first Super Ticket from IGT in March of this year. The Super Ticket is an oversized 12 x 16” or 12 x 8” instant ticket that offers multiple games on a single sheet at a $20 price point.

“IGT is pleased to continue working with the D.C. Lottery, and we look forward to enhancing their instant ticket program with creative new content over the next year,” said Michael Chambrello, IGT chief executive of North America Lottery.

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NSQ:IGT) closed in New York Wednesday down 0.49 per cent at $26.63 per share.
