New York-listed Scientific Games has been selected to supply games, technology and services to the National Lottery of Kazakhstan.

Scientific Games has been selected as the exclusive supplier to the lottery, which is operated by JSC Satty Zhuldyz under a 15-year contract awarded in February 2017.

The lottery will work with SG to roll out instant, scratch and draw-based games across a network of 3,000 retailers in Kazakhstan.

"We are excited to work with Scientific Games to launch a socially responsible lottery in partnership with the Kazakhstan government," said Satty Zhuldyz president Alexandr Ten.

"Our goal is to bring the fun and entertainment of lottery to the Republic of Kazakhstan by employing Scientific Games' 40 years of security, integrity and best practices launching highly successful lotteries around the globe."

Revenue from the lottery will be used to fund the Kazakhstan Ministry of Sports and Culture, as well as supporting the country's Olympic team.

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (NSQ:SGMS) closed up 0.21 per cent at $47.10 per share in New York Friday.
