Frankfurt-listed online lottery provider Lotto24 has made a record payout to a German player who won €31m on the pan-European lottery game EuroJackpot.

The Dortmund-based player who is in her mid-fifties has been a Lotto24 customer for more than three years.

One of two lucky winners in Europe, she won Friday’s jackpot with the numbers 3, 6, 9, 18, 24 and the Euro numbers 2 and 7 of her subscription ticket from, which brokers tickets on behalf of the German Association of State Lottery Companies (Deutscher Lotto- und Totoblock).

"Following the unbelievable EuroJackpot trend of the first six months with eight draws of €90m, we are delighted to be able to reward a loyal Lotto24 customer with an incredible win of €31m," said Lotto24 chief executive Petra von Strombeck. "It's the biggest win in our six-year history."

Shares in Lotto24 AG (FRA:LO24) were trading up 0.55 per cent to €14.60 per share in Frankfurt Tuesday morning.
