Dutch national lottery operator Nederlandse Loterij has selected Intralot as its central lottery system provider following a competitive tender.

Nederlandse Loterij will transition to the new central system and install Intralot’s technology solutions in all its retail locations across the country in 2019.

“After an intensive international tender process in which we have compared services of top suppliers in the gaming industry, we are confident Intralot will be able to deliver the quality and flexibility we need to meet the challenges in a fast and changing market,” said Arjan Blok, chief financial officer of Nederlandse Loterij.

Shares in Intralot SA (ATH:INLOT) were trading up 3.19 per cent at €0.518 per share in Athens Friday morning.
