New York-listed supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a two-year contract extension with the Iowa Lottery for instant ticket printing services.
The company’s subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation will provide instant tickets and related services through 31 December 2020, with the new contract including four one-year extension options.
“The Iowa Lottery looks forward to continuing to work with IGT to enhance our portfolio of instant-ticket games to support our growth,” said Iowa Lottery executive vice president Larry Loss.
IGT and the Iowa Lottery have been working together since 2015 to enhance the lottery’s portfolio of games and deliver increased sales. Since the contract began the supplier has printed the top-performing games at the $1, $5, and $10 price points, respectively $1 Holiday Lucky X3, $5 Ghostbusters, and $10 Super Triple 777.
“Over the course of our partnership with the Iowa Lottery, the lottery has had tremendous success with many of our games,” said Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer, Lottery. “Our games have generated more than $90 million in sales for the Lottery since 2015, and we look forward to continuing to help grow sales throughout the duration of this contract and in the future.”
Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYQ:IGT) closed down 1.32 per cent at $16.48 per share in New York Monday.
