Kentucky Lottery sales dip despite strong iLottery growth

The Kentucky Lottery has reported a 3.5 per cent decline in sales to $353.3m for the first four months of its 2019/20 fiscal year.

Lottery sales were lower than the strong comparable period last year when a near-world record $1.5bn Mega Millions jackpot boosted results in October 2018.

In October of this year, the lottery sold $2.4m in Mega Millions tickets compared to $21.2m in Mega Millions tickets a year ago.
