Looking to further develop its interactive gaming offering, US gaming machines giant WMS Industries Inc has acquired Phantom EFX, the Iowa-based multi-platform slot and casino games developer.
In an announcement Friday, WMS said that it has acquired Genesis Communications Inc, trading as Phantom EFX, for an undisclosed amount. The deal follows WMS’ acquisition last month of Swedish online gaming developer Jadestone Group.
