Kalixa, the digital payments subsidiary of bwin.party digital entertainment, has completed the acquisition of card payment processor PXP Solutions as it looks to significantly expand the proportion of revenue generated outside of the group.

bwin.party said that the acquisition represents an "important step" in the acceleration of the company's three-year plan to grow its Kalixa payments group, and to generate 85 per cent of revenue from external clients by 2017. Last year, Kalixa processed €2.5bn in transactions, with 92 per cent coming from internal sources.
