The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission confirmed Thursday that it will not oppose Tabcorp’s proposed acquisition of Sydney-listed gaming systems provider Intecq.

Tabcorp had agreed to acquire Intecq, formerly known as eBet Limited, in August for AUD$128m in order to strengthen its B2B gaming division.

The ACCC had initiated a review focussed on the supply of gaming and promotional management systems to gaming venues in the Australian states of Victoria and New South Wales, where Intecq and Tabcorp Gaming Solutions (TGS) operate.
