The Australian Competition Tribunal (ACT) has given the green light to Tatts Group's merger with Tabcorp Holdings for a second time.
The Tribunal, which was forced to re-evaluate its original decision to approve the deal following a Federal Court ruling in September, has again concluded that the merger would result in "substantial public benefits".
The potential competition issues highlighted by third parties were "unlikely to either arise or are not otherwise material", it added.
