US casino operator Boyd Gaming has completed its acquisition of Pennsylvania-based Valley Forge Casino Resort for $280.5m.
Following a definitive agreement signed last December and approval by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in April, Valley Forge becomes Boyd's first property in Pennsylvania, the second-largest commercial gaming state in the US.
It also provides the company with the opportunity to enter the state’s regulated iGaming and sports betting market through its partnership with FanDuel.
