London-listed online gaming operator 888 Holdings has agreed a $28m deal to buy-out its joint venture partner in the All American Poker Network.

The All American Poker Network (AAPN) was established as a US-facing joint venture between 888 and investment firm Avenue Capital in 2013.

888 is acquiring the remaining 53 per cent shareholding in AAPN held by Avenue for a total cash consideration of $28m, of which $10m is payable immediately and the balance due by the end of the first quarter of 2019.
