Gauselmann Group’s Blueprint Gaming has expanded its product portfolio with the acquisition of UK-based games developer Project.

Project has been active in the UK retail market for 30 years and boasts a portfolio of over 50 titles, including the popular Mega Bars and Find the Lady Poker games.

These will now be adapted for the online market as well as being integrated into Blueprint Gaming’s machine offering.

“Project has a strong reputation within the UK retail space and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Blueprint Gaming family,” said Sascha Blodau, Gauselmann Group UK General Manager. “The enlarged group will continue to be led by Blueprint Gaming managing director Matt Cole and we look forward to working closely with the whole Project team.”

Project's management team will continue to lead the day-to-day activities of the London studio, while the design and development departments of both companies will form a close collaborative relationship to bring further game innovation to the online and retail sectors.

“I am excited about the next phase in Project's development as a part of the Gauselmann Group,” said Project managing director Tony Boulton. “We have a great team of people and we will benefit from the scale, support and added distribution of the Gauselmann group.

“This opportunity will enable us to grow and to introduce our proven games to an online audience. Our aftersales support will remain in place to service the large number of games we currently have in the market and we thank all our customers who have supported us over many years.”
