Private equity firm Blackstone has made a €175m minority equity investment in Romanian bookmaker Superbet.
Founded in 2008, Superbet’s retail network currently spans over 1,200 shops in Romania and Poland, with the operator launching online operations in Romania in February 2016, supported by a new mobile app last September. Superbet plans to launch online sports betting in Poland later this year.
