Maltco Lotteries Limited, a subsidiary of Greece’s Intralot, has been granted a ten-year concession and licence to operate National Lottery games in Malta.
The award followed the launch of a public competitive tender process last October by the Maltese government.
Two bids were received by the Maltese Ministry of Finance – one from the current concession holder Maltco Lotteries as well as another bid from a consortium including Intralot rival GTECH.
