Swedish gaming software developer NYX Gaming Group has made its first move into the regulated Italian online gaming market following a deal with leading service provider Microgame.

Microgame provides its services to over thirty operators in Italy, as well as a number of B2B partners through its People’s Network.

NYX Gaming’s senior vice president of business development David Flynn said that the NYX OGS (open gaming system) has become the “games platform of choice for many tier one operators” with this launch further increasing the company’s reach into regulated markets.

“This is a monumental step for NYX to take its OGS product into the Italian market,” said Flynn. “To take this step together with one of the leading providers in the Italian market is truly phenomenal.”

Microgame’s general manager Marco Castaldo added: “NYX Gaming Group’s games are growing on our platform since the launch and we look forward to broadening the offer. By adding NYX OGS to our existing portfolio, Microgame further strengthens its leadership position with the most complete online casino product offering in the Italian market.”
