William Hill chief executive Ralph Topping said Thursday that his company has yet to work out how to effectively cross-sell mobile sportsbook players into its gaming offering, describing the channel as “heading in the right direction,” but not quickly enough.

Speaking following this morning’s Q3 results announcement, which saw profit come in at £20m below expectations, Topping said the company’s ultimate goal was to “use what is an excellent sportsbook to cross-sell into gaming,” but added that this had “not quite happened yet” for mobile.
