A bonus promotion run by Sky Betting and Gaming’s Sky Vegas brand has been banned by the UK advertising watchdog, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), after two adverts failed to properly inform customers of the conditions linked to the offer.

The promotion was advertised on the Sky Vegas website and via a suggested post on Facebook, with both offering new sign-ups a 200 per cent first deposit bonus of up to £1000. In each case the offer was linked to a page detailing the terms and conditions of the offer, explaining that customers would be required to enter a promotional code to be eligible for the bonus.

The customer would then have their maximum bonus amount set, based on their first deposit, and would have to earn this sum by playing games on Sky Vegas.
