Online gaming business HB Gaming has launched a skin for its Poker Heaven brand on the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN).

HB Gaming was awarded a licence by Malta's Lotteries and Gaming Authority in December last year, and counts former Gaming Media Group finance director Shaun Barron as part of its management team.

The Poker Heaven brand was previously owned by Gaming Media Group but is now operated by InTouch Gaming, originally the B2B arm of GMG, and HB Gaming.

The Poker Heaven skin on the MPN offers players a variety of special promotions and features, including a Bad Beat Jackpot and social gaming-style achievements designed to boost retention and player engagement. Microgaming has also guaranteed funds for the tournament schedule, and introduced Heads Up, fast-fold tables.

HB Gaming director Shaun Barron said he was delighted to launch Poker Heaven on the MPN, praising it for ensuring the growth and long-term health of online poker through the development of new features and enhancements.

“At Poker Heaven the aim is to give players a truly special poker experience, and we’re confident that joining the MPN will help to achieve this,” said Barron.
