Nevada-based games developer Genesis Gaming has announced the launch of two new online slot games, ahead of the planned release of a remote gaming server (RGS) to distribute its social casino content.

The company has launched two fantasy-themed slots, the Norse-themed Ragnarok and the fairy tale slot Robyn.

Ragnarok is the first Genesis slot to feature unlockable content, with players gaining access to new features as they play the game.

The second slot, Robyn, will go live in April and is the first to be rolled out using a new strategic initiative called Global Availability.

Global Availability allows a new title to launch across multiple gaming platforms to ensure the product is available to all operators simultaneously. Robyn is scheduled to launch on Microgaming’s Quickfire platform, OpenBet, Leander Games, Relax Gaming and Odobo.

Genesis managing director Geoffrey Hansen said that by partnering with open platforms for mobile and online delivery, the company can give partners “unsurpassed” access to their new titles.

“In particular, operators have been requesting more options for mobile delivery of premium games like Robyn,” he explained.

The company is also preparing to launch a remote gaming server to accelerate the delivery of its games to social casinos.

The Genesis Social RGS supports Flash, HTML5, as well as iOS and Android clients, to make the system as flexible as possible.

The supplier already offers its games for social platforms, but Hansen said the process of launching these titles would be much smoother with the RGS.

“We are building technology that promises to make it faster and easier to deploy a catalogue of video slot games,” Hansen explained. “We plan to capitalize on the tremendous growth of social casino gaming to provide new channels for our premium video slot content catalogue.”
