Swedish games supplier NYX Interactive has bolstered the range of content available via its Open Gaming Server (OGS) with the launch of virtual sports provided by UK-based developer 1X2gaming.

1X2gaming chief marketing officer Kevin Reid said he was pleased to have launched “an exciting proposition” with NYX.

He said that the launch would give the supplier access to operators using the OGS, and would show there is a clear niche within the market for data-driven virtual sports products.

“With the World Cup fast approaching, partnering with such a forward thinking company as NYX, enables us to meet our corporate objective, of as many players as possible enjoying their favourite sport 24 hours a day, on our tournament specific games via mobile, tablet and online,” Reid explained.

NYX senior vice president of business development David Flynn said the launch of the first virtual sports games on the OGS showed the flexibility of the solution.

“The diversity of virtual sports games available from 1X2gaming is exceptional,” Flynn continued. “The flexibility of the tournament specific games like Virtual World Cup, coupled with the high rates of turnover of games, makes for a very compelling offer.”

Alongside its virtual sports products, 1X2gaming offers a range of slots, instant win, bingo and keno products for desktop and mobile.

The company works with a number of iGaming operators, launching a full suite of casino products for Webis’ Betinternet site and a number of games for GVC Holdings’ Betaland and Betclu brands.
