Swedish casino games developer Net Entertainment has announced that its games have now gone live with SkyVegas.com, the online casino brand of British satellite TV broadcaster BSkyB.

The launch strengthens the company’s position in the UK market, which the supplier has described as a key area for expansion.

SkyVegas.com was one of the first UK clients to sign up for Net Entertainment’s games and is among a number of UK-based operators who have now gone live with the offering including bet365, BetVictor, Paddy Power, Stan James, William Hill and Ladbrokes.

Richard Flint, managing director of BskyB’s online gaming arm Sky Betting and Gaming, said: “We are delighted to add Net Entertainment’s outstanding games to the rich portfolio of content at Sky Vegas. We know these games will further reinforce our position as one of the best and most popular online and mobile casinos in the UK.”

Björn Krantz, Net Entertainment’s chief of global marketing operations, added: “It feels great to be in live operation with Sky Betting and Gaming, a well reputable and recognized player in the UK market. I am confident that our best in class online desktop and mobile portfolio games will be well received by their player community.”

Shares in Net Entertainment AB (Co. Data) (OMX:NET-B) are currently trading up marginally 0.33 per cent at SEK150.50 per share in Stockholm this morning.
