Sports data provider Sportradar has established a partnership with the Football Federation of Belarus (BFF) to become the official data partner of the governing body.

Sportradar has signed a five-year deal with the BFF’s commercial rights holder, Sports Tube LLC, and has acquired the worldwide and exclusive right to collect, archive and distribute sports data on all matches in competitions organised by the federation to the betting industry.

The supplier has also acquired the non-exclusive rights to collect and distribute match data to media organisations, and will work with Sport Tube to create a professional live scout network in Belarus.

Sport Tube explained that it had selected Sportradar as its data partner because of its experience working with a number of sports governing bodies.

It noted that the distribution of official data would support integrity measures by helping eliminate the unauthorised collection and use of data, as well as unofficial data collectors at BFF events.

Sport Tube chief executive Alexei Vakulshik said that he looked forward to working with Sportradar, which he described as an established market leader in the provision of sports data and an “excellent partner” for BFF.

“Together we will enable all fans of Belarusian football to be able to utilise the full breadth and depth of the content offered. This partnership opens up some really fantastic opportunities,” Vakulshik added.

Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl said he was pleased to be working with the BFF, adding that his company’s betting and sports data services would “engage fans throughout Europe in new ways and across all platforms.”
