Malta-licensed operator GVC Holdings has partnered Betradar to launch the sports data provider’s virtual football product on its site.

The launch sees the Virtual Football League product integrated into the Sportingbet platform, facilitated by an eWallet integration via Betradar’s remote gaming server.

Betradar managing director of sales Erik Lorenz said he was delighted that GVC had selected his company’s solution to launch virtual football on the Sportingbet site.

The Virtual Football League (VFL) product, which launched in June 2012, has been incorporated by more than 50 operators worldwide.

Betradar has since expanded its virtual sports portfolio with the launch of Virtual Horse Classics in July 2013, and Virtual Dog Racing, which was released in March this year.

The supplier is set to continue bolstering its virtual sports product offering, hinting that a fourth product is set to be released shortly.

The products are available for retail and online bookmakers, and provide over 2,400 fixtures on a daily basis.

Betradar works with a number of leading operators, including the likes of Bet365, William Hill, Betclic Everest Group and Unibet.

Since its acquisition by GVC Sportingbet has been restructured into a profitable business, generating €74.7m in net gaming revenue, around 44 per cent of the operator’s total earnings for its 2013 financial year.
