Microgaming-powered software provider Prima Networks (PNL) has agreed a deal to supply a range of casino and mobile games to Schleswig-Holstein-licesed operator OnlineCasino Deutschland.
The agreement will see OnlineCasino Deutschland gain access to Microgaming’s open gaming server Quickfire, taking delivery of ten popular casino slots including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Thunderstruck. It will also bolster its mobile offering with a range of HTML5 games for smartphones and tablets.
The operator was the first licensee in Schleswig-Holstein to launch in the German market, going live in April 2013.
OnlineCasino Deutschland chief executive and founder Andreas Pfeiffer described the addition of Microgaming’s games as a logical step for the company as it looked to expand its offering.
“In addition to the new Casino games, the launch of an HTML5 product will be made simultaneously; a pivotal development for us,” Pfeiffer said. “We recognise that mobile gaming is the future, and so we are responding to market needs and player requirements.”
He described PNL as a “powerful and reliable games provider” that would help the operator grow its business in the regulated German market.
The games have been approved by Schleswig-Holstein’s Ministry of the Interior, and went live on May 22nd.
“Our young, dynamic company has been operating since April 2013 as the first official German online casino,” Pfeiffer explained. “Having Microgaming games formally approved by the Interior Ministry of Schleswig-Holstein is the ultimate anniversary present; I see this as a clear signal from the German regulator.”
PNL director Loraine Schoevers said that having Microgaming’s products approved by the regulator for launch was a significant step for the company as it looks to establish a strong presence in Germany.
