Win Interactive, the social casino start-up backed by bwin.party digital entertainment, has launched the first of its free-to-play titles to be repurposed for real-money gameplay.
Teddy Pets is now available through a number of bwin.party’s sites including bwin.com and Partycasino.com, before being rolled out to other European markets on a country-by-country basis.
It features stuffed animal characters, 20 paylines and has paid out more than 120bn virtual coins in winnings since its release as one of the original titles to go live on Win’s Slots Craze app on Facebook and iOS.
The company has a full development pipeline of free-to-play games on Slots Craze which are to be converted into real-money titles, including Vegas Spins, Lucky in Love and Africa. These will alll be launched over the coming months.
The original Slots Craze app has been downloaded more than 1.5m times since its launch in February last year.
Win chief executive Barak Rabinowitz described the release as “an important leap forward” for the company as it looks to make its games available to as many players on as many platforms as possible.
“It is especially fulfilling to work with bwin.party on this important initiative, combining our unique resources to break new ground in the global e-gaming industry,” Rabinowitz explained.
bwin.party group director of games Golan Shaked said that the decision to deliver the quality of the latest social slots for its real-money sites demonstrated the company’s customer-centric content strategy.
“We are utilising all of our assets to deliver a consistent, high quality gaming experience across multiple platforms and gaming environments,” Shaked continued. “We are beginning to see an encouraging correlation develop between social and real money play on our leading labels such as Cheeky Bingo.”
Alongside Slots Craze, Win has launched two other free-to-play products, bingo app Cheeky Bingo and Stardust Casino, a full casino app based on the iconic Las Vegas venue and developed in partnership with bwin.party’s US partner Boyd Gaming.
