Totolotek, the Polish subsidiary of lottery gaming systems provider INTRALOT, has agreed sponsorship deals with three of the leading clubs in the country’s top football league.

The subsidiary has signed two-year deals to sponsor the T-Mobile Polish Super League teams Wisła Kraków, Lechia Gdańsk and Górnik Zabrze, as part of a long-term plan to expand its sponsorship activities in Poland and support the country’s football leagues.

Totolotek becomes an official sponsor of each team, with its branding appearing in stadiums, their official websites, while points of sale will be set up in fan zones. The company will also run dedicated marketing campaigns in the stadiums and through social media.

The president of Wisła Kraków’s management board Jacek Bednarz commented that signing a contract with Totolotek was a major achievement for one of Poland’s top football clubs.

“We value highly Totolotek’s commitment to the development of Polish sport and we look into the future with renewed optimism,” Bednarz explained.

Lechia Gdańsk chairman Bartosz Sarnowski said the partnership would bring mutual benefits for each party.

“The acquisition of such a strong business partner is for Lechia Gdańsk a confirmation of the successful establishment of a strong football brand and a reason to be proud of,” he added.

Zbigniew Waśkiewicz, president of Górnik Zabrze described the sponsorship agreement as “undoubtedly a success and a happy day” for the club and its fans.

Totolotek launched online sports betting in Poland in October last year, having secured a licence from the country’s Ministry of Finance in July 2013. The offering includes fixed-odds betting, in-play wagering and pool games Toto-Liga and Toto-Gol.

“I am sure that our cooperation will bring mutual benefits and I am glad that our company is from today the official sponsor of such outstanding clubs,” the company’s president Adam Lamentowicz said of the deal.
