A North Carolina man has been imprisoned for taking millions of dollars in counterfeit poker chips to Atlantic City to use in a poker tournament at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
The incident took place in January 2014 and was uncovered when guests at the nearby Harrah’s Casino Hotel reported a leak in the sewer line in two adjoining hotel rooms.
