Virtual sports and gaming machine supplier Inspired Gaming Group has agreed an extension to its partnership with William Hill to supply video lottery terminals and virtual sports.

The new five-year contract will see Inspired, which has served as the exclusive supplier of gaming machines to the operator since 2012, launch a further 4,000 Eclipse cabinet in William Hill’s 2,400 licensed betting offices. The company’s Storm cabinets are already available across the retail estate.

The Eclipse cabinet features four screens and an interactive touch and swipe SmartDeck player panel, as well as two main HD widescreens. The terminals have been deployed with major operators including Paddy Power and Betfred, as well as William Hill.

Inspired founder and chief executive Luke Alvarez described William Hill as one of the world’s leading gambling businesses, adding that it was “a testament to the quality of Inspired’s innovation and operational services that we have renewed and extended our long-term partnership for a further five years.”

"We recently announced a new desktop and mobile content deal with William Hill’s online business and look forward to innovating across all of William Hill’s channels to provide its players with more entertainment, whilst using new technology to identify and protect vulnerable players,” Alvarez added.

The deal, announced last month, will see Inspired supply the operator with a range of HTML5 games to be rolled out via William Hill’s mobile gaming platform.

White Knight, the first game to be launched through the partnership, is already live, with others to follow over the course o the year.
