Sports betting software provider SBTech has signed an exclusive deal with Belgian gaming operator BetFIRST to supply its sportsbook platform for use in the country’s regulated iGaming market.

The supplier will provide BetFIRST with its online and mobile platform, giving players access to SBTech’s live and mobile betting products which feature more than 13,000 monthly live events and more than two hundred bet types.

The partnership further strengthens SBTech’s presence in the regulated Belgian market, where it has also established a partnership with land-based sports betting operator Starbet to supply an online and mobile sportsbook solution.

BetFIRST managing director Lionel Lammens commented that as Belgium’s leading online and land-based operator, it was crucial to offer the best possible betting experience to its clients.

“SBTech have repeatedly demonstrated their experience in taking operators to the next level, even in tightly controlled markets such as ours,” Lammens explained, describing the offering as “second to none.”

“Their convergence solutions for online and mobile will give us unique added value, help us grow faster and provide our loyal players with an even better betting experience,” he added.

SBTech chief executive Itai Zak said he was delighted to have sealed the partnership.

“BetFIRST is yet another highly respected operator chosen to switch to our superior platform because of our constant innovation and proven experience in regulated markets,” Zak said.
