US gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has announced an agreement to provide its gaming solutions to the new City of Dreams Manila entertainment resort which is due to open later this year in the Philippines.
The Manila-based resort will be equipped with a number of the supplier’s solutions to provide a comprehensive suite of customer interaction and floor optimization applications, including IGT Advantage systems, sbX Floor Manager, and Service Window.
Players will be able to interact directly by way of the Message Blast system, while promotional capabilities will be provided through a bonusing tool set including Xtra Credit, Point Play, Scheduled Return Play and Carded Lucky Time.
“City of Dreams Manila has carefully selected the latest and greatest innovations, technologies and amenities for its lavish new resort, and the choice of IGT systems is no exception,” said Mark Michalko, IGT’s director of sales, Asia. “We're driving player excitement with personalized communication on the casino floor, combined with IGT's extensive game library with flexible bonusing technology in a variety of themes."
The IGT Advantage installation at City of Dreams Manila will see the supplier deliver up-to-the-minute data on player activity and preferences, enabling the operator to change content dynamically and optimize floor performance.
IGT will also provide its new EZ Pay Mag product, the first time it has been installed in Asia, offering players a card-based cashless option alongside EZ Pay ticketing. Local support is to be provided by IGT’s Manila office.
IGT further announced that City of Dreams had opted for the IGT Tournament Manager solution, with 52 IGT video poker machines, “transforming what was once a singular terminal play experience into a fully interactive video poker tournament.”
This will enable the casino to host events to further drive player interaction, the company said.
