Spanish gaming operator Codere has signed a deal with Sportradar subsidiary Betradar to launch an updated version of its live channel streaming solution across part of its retail network.
Codere is to launch Live Channel Retail in 100 Codere Apuestas-branded outlets across Spain this year, with a view to rolling out the solution in other outlets in 2015.
Through Live Retail Channel, Betradar holds the rights to a wide range of international media rights for football competitions such as Italy’s Serie A; France’s Ligue 1 and Coupe de la Ligue, as well as Germany’s DFB Cup and Major League Soccer from the US.
It also features German and Spanish basketball leagues and tennis tournaments organised by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and World Tennis Association (WTA), with up to 16 hours of content being streamed daily.
“This collaboration is another confirmation of the high demand for our entertaining and revenue-driving retail live betting product which combines live sports broadcasts with live odds and live statistics,” he explained.
Codere Apuestas marketing director Ángel Fernández said that as the operator was always looking to find ways to provide its customers with new and entertaining products, the Betradar Live Channel Retail solution would help differentiate its offering by providing live sports content and data, even in off-peak hours.

The partnership comes after Betradar completed a full redesign and upgrade of the solution, which now features extended statistical and betting simulation widgets and the look and feel of a TV broadcast to make it more attractive to consumers.
It features a combination of live streaming, live odds and statistics, including pre-match statistics to create as engaging as possible an experience for bettors.
