Playtech has signed a licensing agreement with Australian land-based gaming supplier Ainsworth Game Technology to roll out the supplier’s gaming content through online and mobile channels.
The agreement is the first to be signed by Playtech and a leading land-based supplier, and sees a selection of Ainsworth’s most popular titles made available through the Ainsworth GameConnect remote gaming server across all Playtech platforms.
The games will be rolled out in regulated European markets such as the UK, across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Ainsworth chief executive Danny Gladstone described Playtech as a renowned online industry leader, adding that he was very excited to sign a partnership with the supplier to bring its land-based slot content to a new audience online.
“The Ainsworth game supply agreement is our first partnership with the world’s leading land-based content providers whose games will be distributed across all our channels,” Playtech chief operating officer Shay Segev said.
“This will give our existing and future online licensees access to proven, premium, localised land-based content, enriching both our and our licensees’ casino offerings as well as giving their players access to an even greater choice of quality titles,” he explained.
While the deal is the first of its kind for Playtech, Ainsworth has already agreed partnerships with iGaming solutions providers GameAccount Network and Bally Technologies.
