Australian payment processor Emerchants has followed up its partnership with Ladbrokes Australia with further deals to supply instant deposit solutions to operators bet365 and Paddy Power subsidiary Sportsbet.
The company's partnership with Sportsbet sees the launch of the Sportsbet Cash Card, which allows customers to instantly access winnings using the personalised card.
Customers will be able to move money from their online wagering accounts to the card, which can then be used at any automatic teller machine or point of sale across Australia.
“We're excited to be working with Sportsbet.com.au and bringing our innovative payment solutions to their customers,” Emerchants' managing director Tom Cregan said of the partnership.
bet365 is to launch a similar product following the signing of a multi-year agreement which will see the operator roll out reloadable winnings cards for customers. This is expected to take place during the first half of 2015, pending approval from Emerchants’ Authorised Deposit-Taking Institution.
“bet365 is a significant corporate bookmaker in Australia and the bet365 Group has a substantial global presence,” continued Cregan. “bet365 will be a key partner for Emerchants in the future and we look forward to working closely together with the bet365 team.”
Ladbrokes Australia was the first operator to sign up for Emerchants’ customer cards in what the operator described as a “world first” launch in March earlier this year.
Earlier this year, Emerchants expanded its agreement with Ladbrokes to include the operator's two other Australia-facing brands, Bookmaker and Betstar.
