Casino games developer Yggdrasil Gaming has launched a new HTML5 framework which will allow for content to be launched simultaneously for desktop and mobile devices.

The first title to be launched via the new system is The Dark Joker Rizes, a sequel to Yggdrasil’s popular Jokerizer slot.

The 5-reel, 10-playline slot comes with a Mystery Wins feature, as well as a Jokerizer Mode which allows users to win additional bonus spins and Super Bets with guaranteed jokers on the reels.

Yggdrasil chief executive Fredrik Elmqvist described The Dark Joker Rizes as a deep and feature-rich game which was “a sign of things to come” as the supplier migrated its content to the new framework.

Of the framework, Elmqvist said his team was excited to now have the ability to launch content across different channels simultaneously, which he said would prove to be a massive advantage for Yggrasil’s clients.

“Launching games simultaneously on desktop and mobile means they can streamline their marketing spend with one game launch campaign across all platforms,” he explained.

“In addition to the new framework, our Infinite API for gamification also means that our customers can be really creative with the ways they interact with and reward their players,” Elmqvist added.

The supplier has partnered a wide range of Scandinavian-facing operators in the past year including operators such as Mr Green, LeoVegas, Vera&John, Betsson and Unibet, as well as supplying content to its parent company, Cherry.
