Toronto-listed supplier NYX Gaming Group has launched its Open Games Server (OGS) with Malta-licensed service provider Gamescale, and signed a distribution agreement to supply one of its existing partners with its poker solution.

Gamescale has been active in the industry since 2010, and has now gone live with an initial selection of games from providers integrated with the OGS including 1x2Gaming, ELK Studios and Amaya, as well as content from NYX’s NextGen Gaming subsidiary.

NYX’s executive vice president of business development David Flynn said that it was the range of content offered through the OGS, with more than 100 HTML5 titles already live and a further 30 set to be released in the next two months, that appealed to Gamescale.

“Diversity, quality games and speed of delivery are where our focus lies,” he said. “I am very happy to work together with Gamescale who value the same principles for their customers.”

Gamescale head of business development Dikla Akrat said that the supplier was very excited to launch NYX OGS.

“Our goal at Gamescale has always been to stand out from the competition by delivering a unique and innovative product, which is why we decided to work with NYX Gaming Group,” Akrat explained. “With the integration of NYX OGS in addition to our exclusive in-house games, Gamescale is now able to offer well over 250 games of exceptional quality.”

In related news, NYX has expanded its partnership with Casino Technology to supply the Bulgarian software provider with its NYX Poker solution.

The companies have worked together since July last year, when NYX launched Casino Technology’s slot content online for the first time via NYX OGS.

The poker product will initially launch with Casino Technology customer eCasino.bg, marking the first time it has been made available to Bulgarian players.

“Casino Technology are a very well established operator and provider of services in the Bulgarian market and will be the ideal partner for that market,” Flynn said of the deal. “Leveraging our existing relationship via NYX OGS, Casino Technology’s customers will now be able to take advantage of the NYX Poker Network, Grand Live poker event and online tournaments.”

Casino Technology managing director for online Konrad Gill added: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to further our relationship with NYX, by delivering NYX Poker to our clients. NYX have a proven Poker product which further widens our portfolio of best in breed games and content. “
