US games developer Spin Games has partnered MGM Resorts International to launch a selection of its free-to-play games on interactive gaming tables at three of the casino’s operator’s venues.

The InteractivePro Tables, developed by Suzo Happ Company’s Shift Interactive, went live earlier this year as part of the operator’s new strategy to reach a younger demographic.

The interactive tables act as a single platform to provide players with access to social media, various TV channels, fantasy sports teams, as well as acting as a virtual concierge.

It also features free-play games including blackjack and slots via MGM Resorts’ social casino app myVEGAS, with the company planning to expand this to real-money gaming in early 2016.

Spin Games said that its content went live this week at the Bellagio, MGM Grand and The Mirage in Las Vegas, including a range of premium HTML5 slot, video poker and bingo content. Twenty-one games were included in the initial launch.

"We are delighted to be launching with MGM Resorts International and are very excited to see our HTML5 strategy of leading edge, device agnostic technology coming to fruition,” said Kent Young, president and founder of Spin Games. "Our long-term strategy is to be at the forefront of US interactive technology and content for land-based, mobile and web applications."

Tom Mikulich, senior vice president of business development for MGM Resorts said that the company was pleased to add the Spin Games content to its interactive tables.

“This is one more step in our strategic initiatives that will revolutionize how Generation X and Y experience our MGM Resorts properties,” he said. “Our ultimate goal is to convert the 'free to play' games to 'real money games' in early 2016."

Spin Games added that its joint venture with UK-based Nektan, Respin, expects to deploy its first product next month, Rapid Bingo, which is a Class II mobile on-property game.
