Playtech-powered has strengthened its partnership with Lingfield Park, becoming the new headline sponsor of the UK racecourse’s Super Saturday Meetings.

The agreement will see the online sportsbook lend its name to 17 races across the five meetings at the Surrey racecourse, running from tomorrow, Saturday June 20th, to Saturday August 8th.

“We are delighted to welcome as one of our key sponsors over this busy summer period,” said Andrew Perkins, Lingfield Park Resort’s executive director. “Lingfield Park offers a huge variety of racing throughout the year, with our summer Hooves & Grooves Series drawing some of our biggest crowds.”

Summer Hooves & Grooves Racing and Music Nights are the biggest fixtures of the year at the mixed turf and all-weather track, bringing in crowds of up to 8,000 race goers per day.

The operator, run by Playtech subsidiary PT Entertainment Services, sponsored three cards at Lingfield at the end of April this year.
