Isle of Man-based software provider Microgaming has launched three of new titles on its multiplayer gaming platform, including its popular Terminator 2-branded online slot.
Alongside Terminator 2, the company will roll out Centre Court and an updated, HD version of its popular tournament slot Sure Win.
Centre Court is a five-reel, nine-payline slot set at a tennis championship, and is available as a tournament slot on the supplier’s download and Flash platforms. It will be used for a network tournament, offering a €2,500 prize pool, with Game, Set & Cash running from June 29th to July 12th, coinciding with the Wimbledon tennis championships.
It will be joined by a tournament version of the Terminator 2 slot, which first went live last year. The game features clips from the classic film and the soundtrack, as well as a number of special features, and will launch on the multiplayer platform on July 1st.
Its release will be promoted with a multiplayer network event, T-100,000 offering a €100,000 prize pool between July 1st and August 3rd. The top 100 players will secure a cash prize, with the first-placed player winning €10,000.
The final new release is an updated version of Sure Win, which has been recreated in high definition, using widescreen functionality and updated graphics to bring it in-line with the supplier’s contemporary multiplayer games. It is to be used for a quarterly tournament, the Sure Win Cup, offering a €10,000 prize pool.
“Having invested in the tournament administration, configuration and reporting modules earlier in the year, we are now in a fantastic position to roll out some exciting new multiplayer titles, along with headline network tournament,” Microgaming’s multiplayer games product manager James Ford said. “The release of Centre Court and Terminator 2 on our Multi-player platform is just the start of things to come.”
