Swedish gaming software supplier Play’n GO has announced that it is providing its GAT online gaming platform for Vegas.dk, the newly launched online casino brand operated by Denmark’s Danske Spil.
The deal is the first platform launch delivered by Play’n GO for a state-controlled gaming operator and World Lottery Association member, and includes the supplier’s Game Account Toolkit (GAT) solution.
Through the platform, Vegas.dk will be able to offer a range of Play’n GO games to Danish players, while the platform has also been designed to allow Danske Spil to launch content from additional third-party providers, such as Net Entertainment.
Local Danish verification solutions such as NemID and Rofus have been integrated with the solution, which also features a comprehensive back office that provides all tools required to manage the Vegas.dk offering.
”We think we can create a unique and strong position in the market with this platform and give more value and entertainment to the players than our competitors are capable of,” said Søren Schneider, head of games for the operator's iGaming subsidiary Danske Licens Spil, commented.
”There are 30 casino license holders in Denmark and you need to try and differentiate yourself if you want to be successful in the future gaming business.”
The Vegas.dk brand has been launched as part of a drive by the operator to differentiate its offering and ensure the company can maintain its leading position in the Danish market.
It has been designed to target casual players, allowing users to progress through achievements and rewards, rather than traditional bonsuses and using loyalty programmes. It is built around two in-game characters, Lis and Lasse Vegas to offer what the operator describes as ” a cozy, fun and relaxed gaming experience for the players.”
