UK bookmaker William Hill has announced its latest omni-channel game launch, with a new Prohibition-themed slot from GW Games rolled out across the operator’s online, mobile and retail offerings.

Lucky’s Empire is set during the 1920s, and sees players help the protagonist Lucky to find the thief that stole his liquor. Described by GW as a “game noir” slot, similar to film noir, it comes with a range of bonus features and players the chance to win large sums.

“In true Hollywood style, Lucky’s Empire is an absolute epic and we are thrilled that the William Hill team has chosen to simultaneously release the game across its mobile, online and retail platforms,” GW Games commercial director Andrew Henson said.

“We are confident that their tens of thousands of players will appreciate the artistry in the game and enjoy the exciting content that we have to offer going forwards,” he continued. “Our agreement to work closely with William Hill on forthcoming omni-channel releases through 2015 and 2016 is a fantastic opportunity.”

William Hill’s head of retail gaming Vince Bateson said that omni-channel slot games were a core part of the operator’s strategy, allowing players to pick out their favourite titles no matter where they are playing.

“We are pleased to be able to launch Lucky’s Empire in both retail shops and online and are sure our players will enjoy its interactive features,” he said.

The deal further strengthens the operator's commitment to omni-channel development, following the launch of Betdigital content across multiple channels via GECO Gaming's remote gaming server. It has also upgraded its partnership with Inspired to simultaneously broadcast virtual sports games across all channels.
