UK bookmaker Coral has been named as the official betting and gaming partner of Newcastle United FC, with the Barclays Premier League side becoming the operator’s third UK football partner of the season.

The two-year deal will see Coral establish a presence in the team’s St James’ Park stadium with kiosks offering betting facilities to be launched throughout the term of the agreement. Through these kiosks, Coral will offer fans exclusive odds and special bet types, which will also be rolled out online.

“Coral is a respected and well known high street betting brand and we are delighted to introduce them into the family of partners at Newcastle United,” Newcastle United head of partnerships Dale Aitchison commented.

“I am positive that our fans will get great value from Coral, with a combination of exclusive odds and special offers available to them throughout St. James’ Park as well as online.”

Coral brand director Matt Prevost said that the operator was thrilled to be partnering “a club of the size and stature of Newcastle United.”

“[We] look forward to providing a professional and exciting betting service to the Club’s fans, who are widely regarded as the most passionate and knowledgeable in the country,” Prevost said.

Newcastle currently sit fifteenth in the Premier League table, having drawn its opening game against Southampton, before losing the second match to Swansea City.

The club becomes Coral’s second Premier League betting partner, and third partner in the whole Football League. Earlier this month it partnered newly-promoted Norwich City FC in a deal which also saw it sponsor the Barclay Stand at the team’s Carrow Road Stadium. The operator has also partnered the Championship's Fulham FC, a team playing in the second tier of English football.
