Amaya’s drive to evolve PokerStars into a multi-vertical operator continues with the operator rolling out a number of new products for the Spanish, UK and Italian markets.
The largest update comes for the operator's dot.com, dot.eu and UK-facing sites, where a range of video poker products have gone live, offering players the chance to win up to 4,000 times their original bet.
The products are available via the Casino tab in the PokerStars lobby, featuring Deuces Wild, Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, Joker Poker, and Jacks or Better variants.
The new slots and video poker products are joined by HighHand Blackjack, a new version of the popular table game, while Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bets have also gone live. HighHand Blackjack requires players place a mandatory Pot Bet Wager, allowing a peer-to-peer pot to be created and awarded at the completion of each hand.
The mobile blackjack product has also been enhanced with the addition of a multiplayer game, in which users can compete against friends and strangers at the same table.
The PokerStars.es offering will allow Spanish players to access slots for the first time, following the official launch of the product in the country earlier this year, significantly boosting the product range the operator could offer. Blackjack and roulette were the only games available previously.
“Slots are the most popular casino games on PokerStars globally, and we’re happy to now offer some of the most popular titles in the world to Spanish players,” director of casino for PokerStars and Full Tilt Sam Hobcraft commented.
Finally, the operator’s licensed Italian offering will launch live dealer casino content for the first time. The operator has maintained a chat feature for poker players for years, but casino customers will now be able to chat and interact with live dealers in roulette and blackjack games for the first time.
