Sky Racing World, the horse racing rights subsidiary of Australia’s Tabcorp, has signed a deal to provide the New York Racing Association (NYRA) with live coverage of international racing.

The partnership will see the NYRA launch live streaming of horse racing from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa via its advance deposit wagering (ADW) service NYRA Rewards. This will allow customers to bet online on more than 8,000 Australian races, 3,500 South African events and 2,400 races in New Zealand.

Founded in April last year, Sky Racing World has already built up a strong US customer base, working with more than 70 advance deposit wagering brands and 425 retail outlets across the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Its latest partner operates the Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack and Saratoga Race Course in New York State as well as offering ADW services online.

“I’m delighted for us to partner with a US horse-racing wagering operator of the caliber of the New York Racing Association,” Sky Racing World president and CEO David Haslett said.

“Their NYRA Rewards brand is one of the major ADW sites in the country, and now their players can wager on the Melbourne Cup 2015 and thousands of other Australasian and South African races, providing them access to some of the best International thoroughbred racing.”

The operator will begin streaming coverage ahead of the Emirates Melbourne Cup, Australia’s leading horse racing event, which will be held on November 2nd.
