Scientific Games has released a selection of new B3 and Category C titles for UK retail clients through its SG Gaming division, including games featuring legendary gladiator Spartacus and iconic comic book character Spider-Man.

Spider-Man, a slot title featuring graphics and footage from the hit film franchise, was released to UK licensed betting offices (LBOs) in September and is currently being rolled-out to arcade and bingo operators.

The branded game further strengthens SG Gaming’s portfolio of licensed titles, which includes the board game Monopoly, the boxing franchise Rocky and classic film The Wizard of Oz.

It is joined by Spartacus, a slot developed by WMS and adapted by SG Gaming for the UK market. The title has already proved successful online and features Colossal Reels and 100 active win lines across all stakes. It is to be made available across all platforms by the end of the year and has already been released for LBOs.

“The new titles being made available exclusively to SG Gaming customers demonstrate the strength and depth of our content offering,” SG Gaming’s UK director of content development Rick Mountney said. “The games build on a number of successful content releases this year, including WIZARD OF OZ Ruby Slippers and Moon Shadow, each a testament to SG Gaming’s commitment to developing innovative and compelling content.”

A number of Category C titles have also been rolled out for arcade and bingo operators including the fishing-themed game Reel ‘Em in, which offers players two community bonuses with a fixed £100 Gold Pot.

“With new and exciting content including great licensed games due for release before the end of the year and throughout 2016, SG Gaming customers can look forward to a stream of successful titles on their terminals in the months to come.”

Meanwhile, SG Gaming has also partnered with InComm, a prepaid product and transaction service company, to launch lottery gift cards for US customers.

The company said the gift cards will expand lottery operators’ reach into new distribution channels such as pharmacies and general merchandise stores. The agreement also allows retailers to market and sell lottery gift cards alongside traditional gift cards for the first time.
