Scientific Games has strengthened its presence in the Canadian iGaming market with the launch of its real-money content with, the online gaming platform operated by provincial lottery operator Loto-Québec.

The agreement allows the operator to add content from the supplier’s SG Interactive division to the Espacejeux site, including games from the Bally, Barcrest, Shuffle Master and Williams games development studios.

This will allow players to access content already popular from the lottery’s land-based casino venues via the online portal.

“We’re dedicated to providing our players with seamless, best-in-class gaming experiences,” Loto-Québec general manager Luc Morin commented. “With the addition of online real money game content from SG Interactive, we’re strategically tapping into the full breadth of offerings from Scientific Games to do just that.”

The deal means that SG Interactive now supplies the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, and Loto-Québec, meaning its products are now on offer to the majority of the provincial lottery operators that provide iGaming in Canada.

“Loto Quebec has always been at the forefront of regulated gaming in North America, and we’re thrilled to provide a robust library of online real money game content for,” Scientific Games Interactive president Jordan Levin said.

Earlier this week Loto-Québec revealed that Espacejeux had posted strong growth for the first six months of its financial year, with revenue rising 28 per cent year-on-year to CAD$28.3m.
