Toronto-listed gaming software supplier NYX Gaming Group is to supply operator Paddy Power with iGaming content after signing a letter of intent to integrate its Open Gaming System (OGS) into the operator’s platform.

The companies expect to execute the agreement before the end of the year, with development work beginning in 2016.

The deal will see a range of popular slots and scratchcard games from NYX’s NextGen Gaming subsidiary such as Foxin’ Wins, Jackpot Jester 50,000 and Merlin’s Millions Superbet be made available, complemented by games supplied by third party partners.

The agreement is the latest to be signed by NYX after it recently sealed a deal to provide Germany’s mybet Holding with its casino content last week.

“I am very happy to have agreed in principle a deal with Paddy Power for the supply of casino content via NYX OGS,” NYX Gaming Group commercial director David Johnson said. “Our industry best distribution network of real money wagering games and speed to market is certainly one of the main drivers for our Operator partners worldwide.”

Paddy Power commercial manager Henrik Johansson added: “Once executed and delivered, the deal with NYX Gaming Group will allow Paddy Power to leverage a significant number of new casino titles, including the proven NextGen Gaming slots content.”

Shares in NYX Gaming Group Ltd (Co. Data) (CVE:NYX) closed up 8.46 per cent at CAD$2.82 per share in Toronto Friday, while shares in Paddy Power plc (Co. Data) (LSE:PAP) were trading up marginally by 0.42 per cent to €116.99 per share in London earlier this morning.
