Canadian casino games developer DEQ Systems has moved into New Jersey’s online gaming market with the launch of a real-money version of its EZ Baccarat game with Betfaircasino.com.
The EZ Baccarat game is powered by the GAN Internet Gaming System, and becomes the first real-money variant of the product to launch online.
“This is another example of our ability to leverage and strategize to reach as many different markets as we possibly can,” DEQ president and chief executive Joe Bertolone said.
EZ Baccarat has come online through the GAN partnership, which was sealed in September 2014.
It then launched on the supplier’s Simulated Gaming platform earlier this year, going live with Foxwoods Casino before the casino dropped GAN as a its free-play gaming platform provider in favour of Greentube.
The game has been designed to emulate the real-world experience, with its creator confident of a successful launch.
“Baccarat games have not worked so far on the Internet because they shuffle the cards after every hand,” Francisco ‘TJ’ Tejeda, co-creator of the EZ Baccarat game, explained.
“The EZ Baccarat game online does not do that allowing players a way to track the results of the previous hands known as the “roads.” For the vast majority of baccarat players following the roads is what makes the game so entertaining.”
The EZ Baccarat game accelerates the speed of baccarat by eliminating the commission. The game method bars a three-card total of seven and is trademarked as the Dragon7.
Players can also make optional side wagers called Dragon7 and Panda8. The Dragon7 is when the Banker wins with a total of seven consisting of three cards and pays 40 to 1. The Panda8 is when the player wins with a total of eight consisting of three cards and pays 25 to 1.
