Virtual sports specialist Kiron Interactive has struck a deal that will see its content added to the IRIS gaming platform, developed by Madrid-based gaming software supplier Mediatech Solutions.

The agreement will see Kiron’s portfolio of virtual sports games rolled out across all channels and linked with a single wallet to Mediatech’s sports betting and casino clients. The roll-out will be completed using Kiron’s recently-launched Betman Online remote gaming server.

The launch comes after Kiron made a series of updates to its virtual racing product last month, with two new games launched. Indy-style motor racing and steeplechase products are now available, which the company claims gives it the largest portfolio of virtual sports available.

“Kiron’s games are proven performers around the world and I’m confident they will complement our existing offering that includes the world’s best game and payment providers,” Mediatech Solutions executive director Daniel Graetzer said.

“The seamless integration ensures that our clients will be able to plug their games in straight away to drive additional spend and improve retention rates.”

Kiron co-chief executive Steven Spartinos said that he was very excited to have signed the deal with Mediatech, predicting that the collaboration would give each company a wide range of opportunities to expand their business.

“They have a number of customers in Europe and Asia who would benefit from the additional revenue streams our games provide, particularly sports betting operators,” he said.
