This week sees the launch of new online casino content from the likes of Genesis Gaming, World Match, Play’n GO, and Inspired.
The Swedish games developer has become the latest to launch a title based on ancient Egypt with Book of Dead, the company’s first release of 2016.
The five-reel, ten pay line slot sees daring adventurer, and noted Egyptologist, Rich Wilde come face to face with Anubis and Osiris in search of the infamous funerary text. Players will be guided through the mythical underworld of ancient Egypt with the Book of Dead acting as both a wild and scatter symbol to form winning combinations.
Three or more Books appearing in any reel position triggers a free spin sequence, with further scattered Books extending the sequence until the maximum prize is won.
“Book of Dead is a spellbindingly exciting slot that players won’t be able to tear themselves away from,” said Martin Zettergren, chief operating officer of Play’n GO. “Book of Dead boasts best-in-class graphics, sounds, and animation and we’re sure that players can’t wait to see what everyone’s favourite slot explorer, Rich Wilde, has in store for them in his latest magical adventure.”
Genesis Gaming has released its latest video slot Deep Sea Diver on the Microgaming’s Quickfire platform.
The 25 line, 5 reel video slot game features a unique collection mechanism that empowers players to trigger, choose and customize their own bonus rounds. Each time an O2 Tank symbol appears, more oxygen is collected.
The player can trigger a bonus feature at any time and can customize the bonus by spending the stored oxygen.
“The game is designed to engage players in a new way consistent with the theme’s underwater adventure” said Scott Sims, head of global design at Genesis Gaming. “Our research has shown that players are seeking a sense of control within their casino game experience, and our design team found a great way to combine a unique game mechanic with an engaging theme.”
Players can choose between the colourful Reef Dive, Wreck Dive or the Deep Sea Dive and can dictate how many spins will be played and with what enhancements. Bonus enhancement options include locked wilds, added wilds and multipliers.
“The serious player can control their gambling adventure in a unique way,” said James Watson, European director of sales at Genesis Gaming. “They can leverage their stored oxygen to chose a customized bonus game that they feel gives them the best opportunity for wins.”
Genesis also announced that its content has gone live with operator Video Slots, via the Relax Gaming platform.
Three games have gone live including Mystic Monkeys, Dragons Rock and Dinosaur Adventure, across desktop and mobile formats.
“Video Slots has a unique focus on slots,” continued Watson. “They are a rapidly growing company, and we look forward to contributing to their expansion into the UK with our proven content and our extensive player knowledge.
“With a number of great Genesis titles already available plus an exciting roadmap for 2016, we can’t wait to go live with even more games in the coming months.”
Inspired has launched seven new mobile and online games with leading operators including William Hill, Gala Coral and bet365.
Five of the games to be released across Inspired’s operator partners include Centurion, Legend of Triton, I ♥ Kittens, The Musketeers and 20p Roulette.
Inspired is exclusively supplying its premium omni-channel game Kingdom of Fortune to Gala Coral sites Coral.co.uk, Galabingo.com and Galacasino.com.
The game features a Free Spins bonus that unlocks four different levels within the kingdom, each level progressively better than the last.
The supplier’s newest mobile game, Tiki Tastic, will be exclusively launched with longstanding customer William Hill in January. The Free Spins game with five bonuses features a team of Tikis with magical powers that conjure up big wins.
“Inspired is fast becoming renowned for its pedigree in creating hit mobile games leveraging our vast experience in land-based VLT estates across the world,” said Inspired’s Steve Rogers, chief creative officer of digital games.
“We are hugely upping the anti with the launch of these seven titles with an exciting portfolio of brand new titles due to hit the market in 2016.”
World Match has rolled out an online version of the popular AWP title Angeli e Demoni25 HD in the Italian market.
The game was originally developed by Baldazzi Styl Art and popular in the country’s land-based gaming sector.
It is the second game after Night Vampire HD to be launched by WM through an exclusive four-game distribution agreement with Baldazzi Styl Art.
The next titles to be released are: Il Pollaio and Golden Game, which will be offered to Italian operators in the next few months.
Angeli e Demoni25 HD keeps the 5-reel, 3-row layout of the land-based slot. It features a bonus game and, on the occurrence of three or more Free Spin symbols, it gives players the chance to win up to ten Free Spins, just like the AWP title.
“We strongly believe in the effectiveness of porting the most famous AWPs to the online, because it offers the players the chance to play their preferred slot also at home and this is an advantage that operators cannot miss,” said World Match executive director Andrea Boratto.
NYX Gaming confirmed this week that one lucky casino player received a belated Christmas present when the supplier’s slot game Sky Millions paid out £2,389,933 on SkyVegas.com.
The Sky Millions slot is a variant of the Millionaires Club progressive jackpot game. It recently joined NYX’s portfolio of content after the acquisition of Cryptologic. The game consists of 'millionaire' luxury symbols and is now part of the NYX exclusive game portfolio, allowing operators to differentiate themselves through unique content.
Following the win, the jackpot was reset to £175,000 and has since grown to over £200,000. The progressive jackpot is shared amongst five NYX games including the popular Millionaire's Club Trio, Captain Nemo and the Sky Vegas exclusive, Sky Millions.
“We’re delighted for our partner, SkyBet, and of course the lucky winner,” said Scott Smith, Chief Product Officer for NYX. “£2.4m is a life-changing amount to win and to happen at this time of year is even better. The worlds largest operators are turning to us for games that drive unique player experiences and this is a great example of the power of our content portfolio.”
